Craig was one of two young lives taken from us as a result of a tragic road traffic collision in
Queens Road, Hethersett, on Saturday July 8 2006 Craig lost control of his car before crashing into
an electricity pole and shop.

Craig only 19-years-old, was a rising star in the world of golf He first played golf at the age of
eight and showed major talent at the age of 12, when he decided to concentrate on golf rather than
football, having played for the Mulbarton Under-14s, the Hethersett Under-14s. He also attended the
Norwich City Youth Academy. He followed in the footsteps of his father, Robert Waugh, who is a
professional golfer and coach at Dunston Hall.

Craig was a county champion, Norfolk Amateur Champion, a schoolboys champion and won the Norfolk
Order of Merit two years in a row and was a Dunston Hall Club champion for five consecutive years.
Two years ago he was chosen for the England Under-21s squad and this was to be his third season.

Craig worked part-time at Dunston Hall pro shop and it was his ambition to turn professional and get
into the European tours. “He spent most of his time playing and practising and trying to achieve
his goals.?

His mother Cheryl Stevens said: “Craig had lots of friends and was really loved by so many people.
We are completely shocked and devastated by what has happened and can't begin to describe how we
will miss him.?

Craig, who lived on the main Hethersett to Wymondham road, was a former pupil of Bawburgh Primary
School, Hethersett Middle School and Hethersett High School. He leaves two brothers, Johnathan, 21
and Robbie, four.

Johnathan said: “He was a really lively character and had a very cheeky side. He was a family
person. He was really going places and now it has come to an abrupt end. Our deepest sympathies are
now with Chloe's family.?

Hey, I have no idea how i didn't find this before!! You know as well as i do, i think about you at least once a day. You keep hanging around, i can smell you, you always did like your aftershave :) You know why i didn't come that day and i know if you were here i know you would have understood. It's weird not going to Dunston for a catch up with you. I still remember me taking you home in a taxi that christmas and you were drunk as a skunk. You know people haven't forgotten you. I know i haven't. I've got so many photos of us lot, they'll stay with me forever. Hope your behaving yourself and not causing too much chaos :) You know how our relationship was and thats all that matters, me and you are the same, don't like too much bull eh? I love you bud. Be good u cheeky monkey. P.s--my mum says hi, you always said she was fit :) xxxxx

Sissy and Aida

I'm drunk here with Amy and I just wanna say I'll never forget the fun we used to have. The night which sticks out the most is when we were at your dads when he was away and we weren't meant to be there (sssh...) and we rang Johnny C and asked him if he fancied a dirty weekend and mine and Amy's alias' were Sissy and Aida. I loved it. The best thing about our relationship I think (although you would never admit it...) is that together we were the rebels!! I love you always lots of love Holly x

A Kiss

We never stop to measure
Anything we might just miss
But if the wind should blow by softly
You'll feel an Angels Kiss
A Kiss thats sent from Heaven
A Kiss from up above
A Kiss thats very special
From someone that you love
For in your pain and sorrow
A Kiss will help you through
This Kiss is very private
For its meant for only you
So when our hearts are heavy
And filled with tears and pain
And no-one can console you
Remember once again
About the ones you grieve for
Because you sadly miss
And that gentle breeze you took for granted
Was just an Angels Kiss x

Miss You

Craig I still keep finding memories of us growing up together I hadn't thought of before! You was a little monster when you was little-playing with robbie the other day i can see you in him! You always used to wind me up and I'd never be able to get one better on you! The last time i saw you at work my boss asked why u was allowed to give me so much grief-the only person who was! Meals with the family we'd look at eachother and signal going out for a walk so we could have a sneaky ciggarette! I remember when you gatecrashed my first party i went to when i was 13! I was so proud to show you off to my friends-my cool cousin! You and Johnny are like my brothers to look up to and i will continue to look up to and be proud of you! I think of you and I can see you so clearly with your thumb up and saying "oroite" with your smile! And that goofy laugh. You will be forever in my heart to remember. So many memories i have-come and say hello when you've got a minute! Love you I'll see you soon xxx
